This Nashville-based singer/songwriter is a man of passions - he is a diversity and adoption advocate - and passion is what comes over from the first note on this seven-track mini-album. Opening with the pop rock romp "Only Love", with "This Little Light Of Mine" dropped in the middle of it, the tone turns more acoustic with "Frustrations" with the feel and power that recalls Anastacia, before hitting a power ballad vibe in "Life Matters" that would not be out of place in any boy band repertoire. "Grace Made The First Move" pulls all the passion and songwriting talent together to provide the standout track both in terms of music and lyrics - no mean feat as these are all strong tracks and all written or co-written by Erskin. An accomplished pop album that deserves a listen.
