If the zillionth version of "Shine Jesus Shine" on 'God Is Good' produces, in this particular reviewer, yawns rather than raised arms, that's possibly me missing the point of this Back To The Praise Classics series. Let's just say that these are competently performed versions of well known worship songs. But competence is seldom inspiring with middle of the road arrangements and singers who sometimes sound like they're going through the motions rather than expressing passionate praise to God. This is a dull worship fair which will appeal only to CD purchasers interested in the song but not bothered about their performance.
