Having released several albums in Maltese, this is Father Debattista's first recording venture in English. MSSP stands for Missionary Society of St Paul, and as befits a missionary he uses his music to proclaim the message of God in evangelism. 'Dance Into Joy' includes songs of worship, reflection and Psalms and is a pleasant mixture, 46 minutes worth in 12 tracks, but to my ears at least nothing really moves beyond the pedestrian. Having said that, I'm sure the good Father's supporters will enjoy this set, as his vision of using music to encourage believers to experience the joy of the Lord through dance is honourable in itself.
