Another band rises from the Christian counter-culture to make a pitch at the pop charts and whether it sells big or not I trust many Cross Rhythms readers will make the effort to search it out. A delightful acid jazz groove with a doodling bass line and a lyric which could be a worship song to God. Kaz Lewis sings with passion. Jazz funk deejays like Russell Jones have been giving it mucho club plays. Almost as good is "Don't Go Giving It Up" with a spiralling rhythm and some snappy horns. Slick production from hit master Steve Levine. Go to your local Our Price and get a copy.

I loved this EP - on repeat when I was a teen. Would dearly love to track down a copy!
