In the course of 25 years together and recording over two dozen albums the Gaither Vocal Band are fast becoming Southern gospel's answer to Spinal Tap. For this latest release younger members Marshall Hall and Wes Hampton take over from David Phelps and Russ Taff. Whilst the changes have pointed the band in a slightly more country direction than previous releases the lead continues to be in the safe hands of long standing lead Guy Penrod and the production by Bill Gaither ensures that nobody goes too far away from the tried and tested formula. To be honest it's a little difficult knowing what more to say. If you love the band then you'll love this and after 25 years there's been more than sufficient time to decide. In the US this album has already been out for a while and reviews by dedicated fans consistently give it eight or nine out of 10. So who am I to disagree?
