This is the first album emanating from the Southlake, Texas, mega church's move into children's ministry. In truth, it's rather an uneasy mix of disco, hip-hop and rock aimed a young audience. The album starts with a child doing a spiritual reading and there's plenty of musical variety after that, but I'm just not sure how well it hangs together. Those young people who like the dance-orientated tracks aren't going to go for the powerhouse rock numbers. The title track is catchy, with its punchy, electro rhythms while "How Great Is Your Love" has the makings of an anthem, especially with its infectious chorus. "One Way (All the Way)" is one of the heavier tracks, while "Living for You" has a nice lightness of touch - I can picture candles or lit-up mobile phones waving in the dark at a youth festival. The album ends on a strong note with the touching "Masterpiece" - apart from being very well performed, with spiritual and musical conviction, it has an important prayer-message about God for today's youth - "I am a masterpiece in your eyes". In truth though, there are many better albums pitched at young people than this one.
