George's Irish album now gets a wider release under the Word company. Long time Irish country artist Crawford Bell produced it and even gets to sing on a couple of tracks, as does Mary McKee. The material is very familiar, "Wings Of A Dove", "Life's Railway To Heaven", "The Family Bible", in fact George has recorded most of these songs before on long deleted albums. Hence the decision to re-record them to have them available on some of his frequent UK dates. All very enjoyable, perhaps the only surprise is "Once In Royal David's City", as it's odd to have just one Christmas track on an otherwise straight gospel album.
