Gerry and Heather describe themselves as "committed to our work in the Lord" which is the hallmark of the gospel and rock-influenced worship songs on this EP. Heather's clear and powerful voice sings her own lyrics with conviction with Gerry handling the musical arrangements. From the gospel-tinged opener "The Jordan River" to the ballad "Tender Mercy" and the mellow closer "The Way" there's a warmth, joy and worshipful attitude within these songs that is moving and inspiring. The downside is the low budget production with programming replacing a little too obviously what should really be instruments played live, particularly the synth brass section. Their songs were used in the couple's home Church in West London where they were worship leaders and continue to uplift congregations and meetings in a variety of settings, doubtless they are an asset to any worshipping community.
