16 years after it was recorded in 1981 and 25 years after the original release of the third Glass Harp album, finally a fourth album, and what an album. Phil Keaggy described this live concert in his song "Wished You Were There" on his 1981 album "Town To Town". '"We performed the Carnegie Hall live set/And gave them more than we expected." This album certainly is something special. Glass Harp, though they owe much lo the rock influences of the 1960s, developed their own signature sound. This album is definitely a case of the best being left to the last. It is Keaggy's guitar playing that made this hand something special, but it is how Glass harp work together to produce an altogether wonderful sound that makes this album outstanding. Keaggy's playing on this album is about the best I have ever heard him play, yet he does not upstage the rest of the band. With only live tracks, the album is still just short of one hour long. The last track, Glass Harp's theme song, "Can You See Me", is outstanding, at nearly 29 minutes long it treats the listener to some of Phil Keaggy's best work to ever be released. Nine years after Glass Harp previously played together they recorded this concert, which certainly is "more than I expected".
