The fascinating musical journey of the veteran heavy rocker to rediscover the roots of rock, ie, the blues has been an absorbing one and now, alongside those riveting acoustic blues albums with Darrell Mansfield, Glenn comes up with an electric blues set that is every bit as impassioned, fiery and satisfying for down-in-the-alley tastes. Probably the most special of all the cuts here is "If I Leave This World Tomorrow" where a 7 minutes 10 seconds playing time gives plenty of scope for torrid solos from Glenn on both guitar and harp though the buoyant blues shuffle "Ain't Much Difference", the telling opener "Everybody Understands The Blues" and the Sonny Boy Williamson tinged "Got A Hold On You" are fast becoming favourites too. Glenn has never wheezed with more conviction and this is in every way a brilliant new addition to the growing gospel blues movement.
