Glenn Kaiser - The Responsibility Of The Christian Musician

A book that is long overdue for all of us involved in music and ministry. Glenn assumes that the reader is a musician or artist and so devotes little time or effort in arguments about good art or 'playing skillfully'. This little book reminds us that artists are not exempt from the commands of God to love him and to love others. Our responsibility to God, to our families, our wives/husbands and children and those who we minister to, who Glenn refers to as our 'potential family' are the subjects tackled here, and it isn't always a comfortable read. In a world where one of the biggest problems with the music industry is irresponsibility of lyrics, lifestyle, performance and consequence, this book should be read by not only believing musos, but by everyone who dares to put an instrument in their hand.
