I guess this is an album where you really do get what it says on the packet. Graham Scobie is Australian and he sings country gospel and he's a bloke. This is his third album and the mix of upbeat, jolly country, pretty obvious lyrics and a few Australian influences make for a totally Oz experience. Song titles like "Boomerang, Take Me Back", "God Lives In Australia", "Yarrangobilly Honeymoon" and "The Church Of Australia Is The Bush" makes this feel like it's an album with songs that are Australian before anything else. Worship songs like "One Mighty Jesus" and "Best 'Til Last" finish the album on a worshipful note but I'm left untouched by Graham's nasally voice, twangy songs and simple lyrics.
