Reviewed by Philippa McCracken A big push is currently underway for this rock band from San Antonio, Texas and this six-song CD is an impressive introduction, with enough bonus features to help you procrastinate for several hours! Music videos, photos, downloads, the band's lead singer Matt Minor's songwriting journal, and that's just the beginning! The music is fresh and passionate; the videos are dripping with creativity and the interviews and behind the scenes videos are loaded with banter that will make you want to be friends with these guys (seriously, they interview their instruments!). "Let Go", the band's first radio single, is a perfect demonstration of their talent, honesty and innovation, while the anthemic "Revolution" will have you singing along with the gang, whether you think you can sing or not. An impressive debut.

| Product Description |
This is Grey Holiday. This is Josh, Steven, Matt and R.T., four best friends who comprise this brand-new, creative, smart and often quirky pop/rock band that want to centre their lives on God, and build the kind of community they feel Christ would want all of us to have. Lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist Matt shares, “We’re really passionate about the community we’ve been given. The friendship between the four of us is our foundation, with God in the centre.”
From the driving, 'Glorious', reminding us that God’s glory is all around, to the atmospheric, emotional, 'You Belong To Me', 'The Glorious Revolution' is a fresh, unique and heartfelt collection of songs dealing with the common struggle we all deal with: holding ever-tight to our selfish desires and worldly possessions, to the point that we miss what God has to offer — a life of freedom. |
