The final recorded offering of the gone-but-not-forgotten band, this was cut in front of what seems to be two enormous crowds in Nashville and Buenos Aires. This album sees Guardian predictably bringing together favourite cuts from their recent history. Guardian were one of the few bands to successfully carve their way out of the old white metal scene and re-invent themselves as a mainstream guitar band. The 'Buzz' and 'Bottle Rocket' albums really re-defined their sound, and included in this set are most of the "new classics" such as "Coffee Can", "Psychedelic Runaway", "Babble On" and "Salvation". The band are in fine form and play with an impressively tight sound, but then they've been doing it for so long haven't they, so what d'you expect? Tony Palacios' guitar breaks are as inventive and intricate as ever and overall this is a fine live offering, if a little obvious. The closing cover of U2's "Pride"' is a pleasingly alternative finish.
