I have always felt that the late singer, comedian and TV personality possessed one of the best tenor voices in the business, displaying a softness and subtlety that some more well known tenors lack. This collection demonstrates that beautifully and is infused throughout with Sir Harry's faith. The result is an album sung by a man who is not just singing these songs, but is clearly worshipping. From the opening lines of "Amazing Grace" through a pleasantly uplifting version of "The Lord's My Shepherd" to the final song "At The End Of The Day", this sincerity shines through. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the album has a full orchestral accompaniment rather than relying on a church organ. Some really creative and sensitive arrangements really bring a freshness to these classic songs with the result that this album is a very pleasant surprise.
