Survivor Records are to be complemented in investing in the grassroots. As this EP by a Salford band shows, there's a huge groundswell of talent now rising up in Britain s churches which needs all our support. The band is fronted by James Gregory who, you may remember, was featured on Peoples Album Two with the excellent In Your Arms Of Love while two of the band s live tracks appear on the Soul Survivor album. The material on this seven-song EP is excellent, James sings with compelling passion, and the occasional blasts of Hayley Gregory's sax gives a distinct flavour to their catchy guitar-driven pop rock rhythms. Bags of potential and another example of the fresh take on praise and worship being brought by today's youth.
