I was a member of HEIRSHIP. I played rhythm guitar and sang lead vocals and background vocals on the “Roadway to the Son” album. The group had various incarnations from 1973 through 1979, but the beginnings of the group included David Michael Boyd (lead vocals, background vocals, lead guitar), Randy Phillips (lead vocals, background vocals, rhythm guitar) and Ed Stiltz (lead vocals, background vocals, rhythm guitar), and Michael Isble (background vocals, bass guitar). We eventually added Russ Obrey (drums) (d. 2021) and Wayne Smith (flutist). Our soundman in concert was Ron Elms (d. 2000).
