When we reviewed their previous demo comment was made about Hey Joe's search for a coherent style. Now they've found one and, surprise, it isn't based on Hendrixenian axe licks but revolves around beefy drum computer and sequencer rhythms. They impressed at this year's Greenbelt so if you're looking for a techno rock band playing songs with decidedly listenable hooks, send off for their tape.
