The wonderful voice and superlative songwriting of Darlene Zschech has finally come to America's attention thanks to her "Shout To The Lord' smash for Hosanna, and presumably all those Hillsong and Hills Christian Life Centre recordings she's made down the years will get re-issued and repackaged in the years ahead. Darlene isn't given star billing on this live talent and it's another great Australian worship songwriter Geoff Bullock who provides most of the songs here. But Darlene's original rendition of "Shout To The Lord" is still the best while Hills' music director Russell Fragar writes good stuff too. This '94 album is a bit more MOR and less rock praise than some of the other recordings stemming from that extraordinary Sydney church but it still exudes worshipful joy.
