The hardest thing in the world, methinks, if you have a reputation for producing quality product in whatever field, be it literature, media or music, is to maintain that quality whilst at the same time staying relevant and continuing to be innovative. From the early '90s, when the fledgling Hills Christian Life Centre began stretching its wings under the guidance of Geoff Bullock, to the present day, the reputation of Australia's best known worship team has been an almost continuous 'up', and this latest offering is well up to scratch. A batch of 14 excellent songs, all written in the last two years, a very generous running time of over 76 minutes, and a bonus DVD giving an interesting insight into Darlene Zschech's worship philosophy, and featuring some of the songs in foreign language sub-titled versions. I'd expect that some of these songs will make an appearance on a power point screen or overhead projector near you in the not too distant future - "You Alone Are God" is a typical Hillsong worship anthem, and there's a good proportion of up-tempo praisers to get the feet tapping and the hands raising. Good value and proof that there's no sign of a creative drought anywhere near Sydney, NSW.
