In their first studio release, London's Hillsong Church have employed the trusty contemporary worship formula of a frenetic start, followed by a handful of slower, more contemplative numbers before pitching it back up to finish in style. Refreshingly though, the London arm of the Australian mega-church continue to pioneer new material with writers such as Jay Cook ("The Call" and "Rise"), Israel Houghton and Peter Wilson ("Now" and "I Receive") and Dave George ("Look To The Cross" and "All To Show") providing top notch songs which wholeheartedly proclaim God's glory. As with most Hillsong releases, the musicianship is second to none in terms of church musicians and the band shine in upbeat songs such as the title track and the glorious riff-laden "I'm Not Ashamed". Elsewhere, slower numbers like "You Brought Me Home" and "At Your Feet" benefit from a more considered approach. Bravely, plenty of space has been left for the listener to worship freely with the epic "Selah (Perfect Love)" forsaking words for an experimental and extended instrumental feast that seems to reflect God's glory as ably as any song with lyrics. All in all, a well thought out and executed release from a church that is growing from strength to strength.

Product Description
Third album from the Hillsong London team and their first studio recording.
In February 2008, Hillsong Church in London gathered together at the Dominion Theatre in the heart of the city’s theatre district to praise God, to celebrate together and above all, to hail the King of all. The sights and sounds of the day were captured for the live DVD/CD release, whilst the new songs were also recorded in a studio for this brilliant new CD release. The Hillsong London band have never sounded better and the new songs are bigger and bolder than ever before, declaring that this is a time for the church to rise up and be heard.
