This gospel foursome from Lansing, Michigan, emerged from a house church formed in 2001, but it has taken10 years to get signed to a label and produce this first album. From track one "Number One" there is no doubt that these sisters mean business with their funky beat and tight vocals. Also the project demonstrates the developing songwriting talent of the group especially from sister Victoria. Sadly, however, the album begins to show some weaknesses from track three "The Way, Truth & Life" where the backing sounds pre-programmed and artificial and "Teach Me" has too much "electronic adjustment" on the main vocal for my liking. The sisters also bring acappella to the album but this sounds a little shaky in places especially on "The Vow". However, there is no doubt that the potential here is huge. Parts of the album remind me of early Out Of Eden, who to my ears improved over time and I am sure it will be the same here.
