Honeytree has got to be one of the longest running long time
ccm vets. This is such a great collection of her songs,
including a new song featuring the well-
known Ricky Skaggs. The lp starts off with the new song
"Heaven's Mountain Band", has that old-timey mountain sound
like the Carter Family. "Clean Before my LORD" from '73
follows the new song on side 1: ccm vet Evie also covered
this song. This is one of her all time greatest songs given
to us I believe, thanks Honeytree. Who can forget her 50's
style sound of "Rattle me, Shake me" from '75. "Search-
light" definitely has that early ccm sound attached to it;
great song! I just luv "Diamonds in the Rough" from her '78
lp; great melody! "Live for JESUS" from '79 will always be
a favorite, thanx Honeytree.
Another new song closes the album "Known by Heart"
Shane Keister plays keyboards on this song; Shane has also
worked with other ccm artists to include ccm
pioneer Don Francisco. This is a beautiful song to end the
album. Thank you for soo many wonderful songs throughout
the years Honeytree, GOD Bless you!-Don
