Many years ago I used to work with a music paper who employed an album reviewer who (bless him) was a bit of a joke. His standard writing style was to use awesomely trite observations like "beautifully recorded in stereo" and "likely to appeal to all his fans" regardless of the album being reviewed. When faced with a review of another album from the endless Hosanna Music conveyor belt I'm almost tempted to use my old col­league's clichés. This album has an enthusi­astic worship leader, a sweetly precise choir-cum-congregation, some songs you'll know ("Be Bold Be Strong") and plenty you won't. It all seems clichéd and stilted to me and I'm incapable of discerning whether it's a good one in the series or not.
