The internet is a great tool with bands having their own sites, usually with samples of their music. The reason I'm saying this is because with the huge amount of CCM out there, it's useful with bands you may not be familiar with to be able to get a flavour before ordering... The flavour of Inked In Blood is rather old and crusty with an aftertaste of bile. There's just nothing new here. The lyrics seem to have depth but the music and vocals don't - the latter being the obligatory groan of this sort of metal. This is a five-track EP and I have to say I am pretty glad of that mercy. The bio material would have me believe that "Awaking Vesuvius" is a metal masterpiece: fortunately, I read the blurb with a pinch of salt. There's nothing original here, certainly no masterpiece.

wow im completly disagree, have you ever seen this band live? have you ever met the guys in it? This cd is anything but unoriginal. Their crispness, and melodic flavor is so well done it blows me away, and their live set is just as good as the cd version. Their lyrics cause the listener to think and question things for himself, not just do what people tell them. Simply fantastic.
