Decent stuff, but sounding like countless other recordings of this genre. Rough throated soloists, funky rhythm section, breezy choir, serving up the somewhat tiresome menu of stylised songs that become so boring before long. The arrangements are totally predictable, in fact everytihng about the album states the obvious. As always, plenty of talent and commitment in evidence, can't fault the work-rate. Good newcomers to traditional gospel, otehrwise dispensable.
