If you missed this one last Christmas, make sure you check it out for the next. Beginning with a child's reading a letter to Santa asking for peace and love all over the world and a PS for the return of a missing loved one, it's followed by a clever little rap from one of America's most underrated emcees. James' flow is over a snappy rhythm with a "come home" vocal refrain. This single could have been unbearably smaltzy, but it works well and even the video, with the little girl dancing around a Christmas tree with the white-bearded one, is touching.
