This lady was the best thing happening vocally on the recent If And Only If tape and now turns up with a 5-song cassette (with side 2 offering backing tracks) which shows she's definitely a talent-to-watch. Her husky jazzy voice is a delight to the ears and though I wasn't struck by the lugubrious ballad opener, with a stark piano-only accompaniment, once she got into the synth-pop territory she showed herself to be a singer of immense potential. Expect big things from this lady.
