Jeff Searles is one of the growing number of Vineyard worship leaders releasing albums of contemporary music. Although based in America he is a regular visitor to England where he recorded this album for producer Martin Smith's new label. There is very little that is original in the songs. I have heard material like this so many times. Songs like "Inside Me" sound like Michael Knott without the bizarre lyrics and the excellent track "Prayer Of Need (Pt 1)" could almost be Guardian. Jeff obviously is a very talented musician and it is good to see an album with lyrics that are firmly centred in praise of God. Most of the songs have long, rather repetitive endings, which seem to drag a bit. There is plenty of room for some good solos in the endings, but apart from a couple of tracks little is made of this opportunity. Yet, faults apart, this is still a good album and the CD even has a poem printed on it instead of the track listing.
