'Snookles' is another wonderful album. This time Jennie concentrates her songs on daily living and gives practical ideas for how to be better people (with a little help of course). The Handbook is a useful resource - it gives ideas for developing some of the themes covered. The songs are bright and bouncy .With fun being the main aim. My own children were delighted with this, and are wanting to listen over and over again. There is a super Christmas song included here, "Christmas Is A Birthday Party", with simple but very true lyrics. I also liked the approach to creation with the song "God Made Caterpillars" which s very suitable for the very young. I can't recommend this tape highly enough-it has so much potential in so many areas.

My children grew up with Snookles as did the Sunday school kids. Now I have Family Day Care I have taught the kids here. But unfortunately the tape broke. I just love Snookles, eating cabbages and tennis balls and a great big burrpp. Everybody's Precious would have to be my favourite. I am about to find out on the sites how to get a cd.

I am wanting to purchase the other tape Jenny made during the same era.
Can you help?

I couldn't get onto the website listed above, but found Jennie's new cd 'Hey You...Guess What' through www.Koorong.com (of all places!). I grew up with these songs as a kis, and at 24 still have the lessons of God stuck in my head! Can't wait to use these for Sunday School - I'm sure the kids will love them too!
God Bless

I'm looking for a Snookles tape too. Years ago I replaced one that was stolen with our car and now I need a new copy for the youngest grandchildren.

Gaylene, you can get another copy of Snookles off Jennie Flack's website www.jennieflack.com - Her first two albums, Mugwumps and Important Things and Snookles have been combined onto a brand new CD called 'Hey You Guess What'

I played the Snookles tape for my children 20 years ago, now I need to find a new copy for a friends son. My children still can sing the songs on Snookles and they are now 26 and 21

yeah i luv the way jennie flack involves the children through her songs. i remember as a child (even though i now am only 16) i used to listen to my tape so often...until it got ruined...but now mum has the cd "the best of jennie flack" which is awesum! my favourite off that cd is the one about the sower...sebastian is so cute in that one!
when i was in primary school, we sang the christmas is a birthday party one at a school assembly which is really encouraging as it was a public school.
