London-based singer/songwriter Jessica Leslie's own website states that her music "fuses various genres from soul, R&B, jazz and rock" and 'Revealed' is her long awaited debut album following her mini-album of 2012 and a couple of singles. When I first heard the album I was amazed at the mix of styles and I have to say that it does work. The range of tracks varies from the more up tempo sound of "Know You More" or "Like David" to the gentler tracks such as "God's Love" and "I Need You" Jessica has taken two years to put this together and in her own words commented that "'Revealed' is my journey to finding my voice and place as an artist, it has taken some time to find my feet on this journey; I've embraced and endured the steps, I am now ready to share it with the world. Romans 8:19." The album was an enjoyable listen although at just over 30 minutes long, I would have enjoyed it as much if it had been longer.
