Reviewed by Tony Cummings The aggregation which grew out of a youth event established at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and now has its own flourishing church in Sacramento has come in for its fair share of criticism on the internet which is, sadly, par for the course for any charismatic ministry making a worldwide impact. Wisely ignoring the theological sniping, the team of passionate revivalists push on in spreading their uplifting songs of adoration of the King of kings and this compilation is a wonderful reminder of some of their finest moments. Taking tracks from 'We Cry Out' (2007), 'Come Away' (2010), 'Live From New York' (2012), 'Unstoppable Love' (2014) and 'Your Love Never Fails' (2014) this features the voices, and often the compositions, of Chris Quilala and Kim Walker-Smith. If I had to pick out particular favourites I'd go for Quilala's "Your Love Never Fails" and Kim Walker-Smith's stunning cover of John Mark McMillan's "How He Loves". And there's two previously unreleased tracks, "Show Me Your Glory", written by Nate Ward II, Kathy Frizell and Kim Walker-Smith and a great version of Michael W Smith's "Agnus Dei" both recorded live in Sacramento in January and both featuring one time Delirious? man Stu G. The new cuts are pretty stirring but then, just about everything on this album is.
