26-year old Jonathan Brewer is a worship leader at Luton International Church and he wrote the material on this album of 10 new worship tunes. The theme of the album is very much focused on revival, both personal and corporate. So you get anthems like "Holy Father" and the cry of the heart for God to move on "Do Something New". At the other extreme, there are intimate songs of worship that draw the listener closer to God, like the tender title cut with its delicious saxophone, and the gentle "A Crown Of Beauty". Both of these songs inspire the worshipper to receive from God and be changed and so reflect the heart of revival. As we seek God, we are changed. The closing prophetic "I Am Crying For This Nation" gives the album a Digger feel taking the believer higher, giving a Heavenly perspective. Certainty 'Immersed In Love' suffers from a tight budget, particularly on the louder songs, but still Jonathan's heart shines through and these are songs that deserve a wider airing across the British Church.
