This is the latest album from the Swedish-born CCM star who scored in 2013 and 2014 with two number one Christian radio hits. Jonathan pulls out all the stops on this new project and with a bevy of special guests including Rapture Ruckus, Kevin Max and Shine Bright Baby comes up with his best album so far. There's a wide range of styles on offer with the catchy beats of the up tempo dance number "Jekyll And Hyde" being particularly strong. Then there's the powerful ballad "The Ruins" with its beautifully simple keys and string arrangement. The danger with such variety is that you may lose the flow of the record but the production ties everything together so well with each track flowing seamlessly into the next. You can't help but be impressed by Jonathan's powerful vocals, perhaps at their best on the theatrical "Mockingbird" featuring Kevin Max and Emily Fertig. The production is innovative enough to be interesting without losing any of the accessibility you would expect from a good pop record. There are plenty of infectious hooks to get stuck in your head and they may well stay there for a while.
