This is third release from the South Gloucestershire-based multi instrumentalist and songwriter. What Judy has done here is taken some traditional hymns and given them her own arrangement. If your taste is for the sound of the harp, the whistle and the fiddle, etc, then there is plenty abounding on this CD. Kicking off the project is the rousing "Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah" with accordion meandering its way throughout. There is the sound of the rolling waves to be joined with the hauntingly played violin introducing "Lead Kindly Light". In "Amazing Grace" we are treated to a lovely simplistic atmospheric piano-driven tune. On the whole although a bit short of time at just over the 30 minute mark. Still, if you like Celtic inspired music then you won't go wrong with this CD.
