Let's face it - when it comes to electro-driven pop Europe often does it best. But now I must report that US CCM has found a brilliant new talent. Julianna grew up in Iowa, the daughter of a pastor and is now the wife of Ben Zobrist (who, if you don't know your US sports, is a baseball player with the Tampa Bay Rays). Everything works on this five-song EP. Julianna has the sass and bite needed to bite through the blips, riffs and layers of electronic effects, the songs are powerful with "Remind Me" offering an infectious hook as she reminds us that in Christ our slates have been wiped clean while the club-sounding title track is a salient reminder that we have a voice that needs to be heard. The piano-led ballad "Safe" is also a gem which cries out for radio play on Cross Rhythms' Girls Night In. Top class.
