This is Justifide's second album following their debut Life Outside The Toybox in '99. In a very overpopulated genre of CCM, Justifide can hold their own; but in my opinion they fail to stand out. The vocals have no unique qualities, but the band members all play their instruments to a high standard. There are some moments on “The Beauty Of The Unknown” where I got a brief glimpse of something more promising. With superb bands like Creed around it's not enough to be good, you need to bring something new into the arena. I'm not saying that Justifide are a bad band or that this is a bad album. It just didn't grip me like so many others have done in my years reviewing for CR. I'd recommend going to their websites (which are great!) and checking out some samples for yourself. Afterall, taste carries a lot of weight with all creative mediums.
