This 11-song collection is as American as ma's home made apple pie and should go down a treat in the old Bible belt. Unfortunately, it makes an awful transatlantic journey to Blighty: although the artist shows a half decent vocal range, the singing feels so "derived" (bit of Kate Bush here, a Dolly Parton there..). The songs themselves are thoroughly one dimensional, mainly set in pseudo-tragic minor keys, and in nearly every case introduced by the same annoying guitar finger-picking tempo and style. The lack of variety is numbing. Probably the most palatable track is the opener, the triune "Angel Chorus/His Love Endures Forever/Awake Me", but it all tastes the sickly same thereafter. I never did like apple pie.

excellent praise and worship music for your quiet time. Get
this CD and download it to your puter. you'll never regret
it. Sure wish I knew what year this CD came out
though.lol
