This album was recorded live in a Waco Texas church; just
Ken and a piano: oh & some choir assistance. I believe this
is the oldest live recording in the ccm genre that I have in
my evergrowing ccm collection.
The front album cover is white , the title and Ken's name
are white also (hmm); makes one wonder.
Now, the back cover is hi-lighted with a fanstastic portrait
of Ken by top ccm artist Dennis Hill;a copy from his second
recording front cover photo (i.e. "Son Shiny Day"). Great
title song "People of the Son".
"And This Is Love" is commendable. A Choir assists in the
song "Every Day is A Victory"; this song takes me back to
his '73 song "LORD, Listen To YOUR Children". Along with
the songs heard, Ken gives the ears plenty of testimony
throughout to hear; probably equal to the amount of song
time. A reprise of the album title closes this live set.
GOD Bless!-Don
