I have this album by Kenny; in fact his first 3 vinyl projects are contained in my large ccm library. The songs on this lp are sooo different; very pop oriented songs:I had difficulty with this album. "Soul Reviver", and "Friends" are about the only songs I tend to favor; I like the words to "Heroes" the song fairs ok. This album seem to miss the mark of a classic ccm lp verses his last album "Right Where You Are". Kenny also switched to "Dayspring" label for this album; his first 2 albums were "Myrrh" label. I'm lloking for an album that was from the 1980's
Kenny Marks, with a blue background and it also had a promo album with a varity of mixed artists???

Hi Ed, I believe the Kenny Marks album you're looking for is his debut "Follow Him" from 1982, has blue cover.
I also believe you maybe confusing Kenny with 2 other possible songs, one is by Michael W. Smith called
"Cover Me" from his 2006 Stand. Another possibility is a song by Hillsong called "Through It All" has similar lyrics to those you mentioned. God Bless, Don
