I've never been to Keswick but this album certainly makes me want to! it's a great worship session led by Geoff Baker and Andy Harsant from the Lake District's Bible teaching convention. The downside is that most of the choruses are of the "old school' variety- "Blessed Be The Name", "My Lord, What Love Is This", "No One But You Lord" - but it's the harmony with classic hymns of past centuries that makes this album such a delight. Sarah Delight (great name!) solos on "Love That Will Not Let Me Go" and it moves effortlessly into the congregation singing "I'm Accepted" (written way back in 1985). Three other hymns ("Break Thou The Bread Of Life", "In Heavenly Love Abiding", "Master, Speak") are beautifully performed and sung - with well known pianist Roger Mayor hitting all the right notes! Then it's forward to a song from 1994, the beautiful chorus "All That I Am" - another lovely solo from Liz Shea. It's great to hear these hymns sung in a contemporary setting rather than the usual sound of a draughty cathedral and dusty old organ - hopefully this will introduce them to a wider (and younger) section of the worshipping church.
