Live worship, of course, from Britain's longest running Christian event. The first track, "In Christ Alone", is one of my favourites and I was a little disappointed to discover that this version, as well as being too slow, sounded like every other version I have heard. Things do improve though, with excellent renditions of two extremely well known hymns, "Love Divine" and "O For A Thousand Tongues". The arrangements are good and there is nice variation between verses - a must if you want hymns to work as they were intended. My only criticism is, again, I found they could do to be a little faster - after all, these are songs of joy! - but on the whole I was impressed with these two. Track four, "At All Times", has to be the highlight of this album. Whilst I think this is an excellent song, I do not like the vocals on the Vineyard original. There is no such problem here. On this version it is excellent and, although not expressly stated in the credits, I assume it is Jayne Lewis providing said voice. The arrangement this time is original, and interesting, and is an absolute pleasure to listen to. This album is pretty much about variety and there is definitely an eclectic mix of old and new worship songs.
