A quiet revaluation has occurred at Keswick. Where once Britain's longest established evangelical gathering gave you unquestionably superb preaching and unremittingly dreary worship, at last the organisers have come to see that the charismatic movement, far from being some dangerous bunch of loony extremists, is at the centre of much of what God is doing in the churches. So the songs on this tape are largely tried and tested classics the Renewal has brought us over the last two decades. The worship leader is Geoff Baker, the man who for years has fronted various Spring Harvest aggregations. He does a good job. Recorded live, there are several stirring moments, "There Is A Redeemer", "Give Thanks" and particularly "O Lord The Sound". There are some older hymns here too. A stirring album.
