Atlanta-born singer/songwriter Kristian Stanfill is the first new artist signing on the sixsteprecords label since its inception in 2000 and this debut release sees the Passion worship leader firing on all cylinders. Stanfill thunders in with the opener "Alive And Running" which sets the scene for an album of high octane songs of unequivocal praise. Proceedings continue in this vein with the likes of the thumping proclamation of Christ's salvation "Kingdom" and the anthemic "Faithful" which, thanks to a massive sound courtesy of an accomplished band and the production skills of Matt Goldman (Underoath, Copeland), suggest that Stanfill would be an unmissable attraction live. Lyrically, Stanfill never succumbs to cliché in his mission to glorify God and his writing style is all at once stirring and vulnerable - most notably in the atmospheric "You Will Always Be" which shows Stanfill's contemplative side in contrast to the otherwise full throttle material elsewhere. This release will surely kick-start a powerful international ministry for Kristian.
