This is the second album from brother and sister pop team LaRue. And when I say pop I don't mean cheesy pop. This is a beautifully produced album of well written songs. They deal with a range of themes from relationships ("Jaded", "I Can't Sing") to struggling to follow God ("Theory Of Flight"). Philip and Natalie write their own songs and they make a wonderful job- the album has a pop rock core with a tinge of country in places. Natalie's voice is somewhere in between Jennifer Knapp, Leigh Nash (Sixpence None the Richer) and Maire Brennan and Philip's Marc Bolan of T-Rex (if I'm allowed to make such comparisons!). Overall a very good album, look out for LaRue in the future.
