"I believe the Lord is leading the Church into a new level of intimacy and urgency in worship," writes LaMar Boschman who has spent many years in full time worship ministry training church leaders worldwide. His book seems largely addressed to church leaders looking to revitalise their services which have fallen into the hymn-prayer-hymn sandwich. So despite a glowing forward from Graham Kendrick, there is little in this book which will be new to church and worship leaders already involved in renewed worship while nothing at all on the latest 'alternative' movement. But no matter, there's still some good stuff here helping to fill in the theology of worship with Bible exposition and a lightning skip through Church history.
