Do you ever listen to an album and wonder if anyone actually broke sweat in the making of it? If the Dove Awards ever dream up a category for 'effortless music' then this album would certainly be in the running. Larnelle Harris has so much experience to draw on, but this collection of songs runs its pleasant enough course without ever giving you the impression that he's operating in top gear. The backing is delivered in the same easy fashion as the vocal. It all makes for an album that's exceedingly well produced and exceedingly difficult to listen to. It seems to me that Larnelle has fallen into the trap of thinking making albums is simple these days. He can do better than this. The closing track is the best one. It's called "The Best Is Yet To Come", and that may well be true.
