Lasse Edin is best known as founder member of Edin-Adahl purveyors of funky pop gospel and now the Swedish vocalist cuts loose with plenty of synth pop dexterity but without the dance floor appeal that made Edin-Adahl's finest so memorable. Having said that, this album exudes excellent musicianship and only occasionally lapses into the robotic anonymity of all those Stock-Aiken-Waterman hits. Lyrics are pretty dire and seem aimed at the elusive crossover, "I belong to you, I need you all the time" etc. etc., but played loud the mid and up tempo numbers chug along nicely while the ballad title track has a spark of originality not always glimmering through elsewhere.
