A collection of 12 beautiful Celtic songs - all written by the Irish singer, with the exception of "What A Friend I've Found", which is a simple but beautiful rendition of the classic Martin Smith modern hymn, "How Long O Lord", written by Richard and Sarah Lacy, and "Here Is Love", the magnificent traditional hymn here arranged by Liz with verses being sung in both Gaelic and English. Other songs include "Devoted" - "I'm happy just to be in your vicinity, where I can quietly see the one I love", and "Won't You Come Lord Jesus" with no instrumentation to distract from the beauty of Liz's singing. Liz's voice has a vulnerable quality to it which draws the listener in and creates an intimate place of worship. I will leave you with Liz's own words - "Some of these songs are written out of a time of great vulnerability and need. I was very ill for some months, up to and including the recording of this album. It was through God's grace that these songs were sung and throughout it God taught me that my need of him increases and grows as I pursue him. I trust that these songs will speak to you and minister to you his mercy, his grace and his love."
