This is the third release from Stamford singer/songwriter Liz Shea and comprises of a mixture of original songs and carefully selected cover versions. It is the latter that stand out against the former Word Of Mouth vocalist's own compositions and the likes of Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene's "Mary Did You Know?" and the Amy Grant classic "Breath Of Heaven" showcase Shea's sizeable vocal range and piano skills. Unfortunately, some of the songs from her own stable tend to suffer from over egged vocals - the upbeat title track and "Choice To Make" (a telling warning against committing adultery) being prime examples. The love song "First Day" and the memorable "Love You More" fair better and show Shea's true potential as a talented songsmith. Consistently pointing towards her relationship with God, Shea does not shy away from tougher subjects - most notably in "Jesus In Your Eyes" which deals with the death of a friend's child through cancer. Proceedings are assisted greatly by an able backing band - special mention must go to Mike Haughton who pulls off some virtuoso performances on sax, flute and whistles. And an 18 song album is exceptional value for money.
